The Division of Hepatobiliary Surgery of Humanitas Research Hospital is an internationally recognized unit speaclized in advanced hepatobiliary surgery. It has the peculiarity of leading the field of parenchyma sparing and image guided surgery of liver tumors having in the years developed new concepts, techniques and surgical precedures nowadays used worldwide.

Open surgery, lap and robotic surgery are performed on a weekly basis. Surgical activities, togheter with the clinical research activities feature the daily practice. Multidisciplinary meeting, Surgical planning preview meeting and Surgical procedure review meetink are carried out weekly.

 

Profile of the candidate

 

Recognized MD Degree

Recognized Specialty in General Surgery

Good proficiency in Italian and/or English

Interest in Surgical Oncology and particular in Hepatobiliary Surgery

Intrest in Surgical Oncology

Interest in clinical research and interest in basic research

 

The candidate will have the chance of being part of the team, involved in all these activities for a  period of 12 months.
