The Unit of Clinical and Experimental Immunology at URH and UMS is seeking a highly motivated young scientist aiming to undertake a research track of bioinformatics that included a possible admission to competitive Ph.D. programs in Milan and/or the participations at Master classes/courses of Bioinformatics available in the metropolitan area of Milan.

The successful candidate will be based at the HRH (Rozzano, Milan, Italy) where she/he will serve as young bioinformatician in projects of translational medicine in the fields of tumor-immunology, viral infections and immunological disorders.

HRH holds a large facility of Bioinformatics with senior bioinformaticians that will support the scientific growth of the young applicants over the years with all the required software/computers and training in a friendly, collaborative and international environment.

- analyses of Bioinformatics on data generated from several methodological approaches (Sequencing, RNA-seq, single-cell RNA Seq, flow cytomtry, etc) 

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences/Medical Biotechnology/Engineering or an equivalent degree with a master thesis in the field of bioinformatics. High organization skills are mandatory. Prior experience in data analyses and computational biology represents a plus for the final candidate to be selected. The position requires the ability to handle simultaneously several tasks and projects, thus requiring a high degree of lab internal organization and high quality management.
Moreover, the candidate is expected to exhibit initiative, efficiency, enthusiasm, good communication and teamwork skills. The candidate will be then further instructed by the bioinformatic facility of ICH and by attending ad hoc class to improve his skills in bioinformatics and became a high requested expert in this field over a period of 3-4 years of training.
