We are seeking candidates for multidisciplinary projects, both international and national, involving oncology, microbiology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, gynecology, and collaboration with the AI Humanitas center.

The role involves a primary focus on analyzing human microbiota in various clinical trials. Responsibilities include developing and validating standardized bioinformatics pipelines for shotgun metagenome dataset analysis, as well as integrating clinical and inflammatory data with metagenomic and metabolomic results through efficient workflows.

Applicants should possess a PhD degree, have expertise in bioinformatics, or demonstrate prior experience in analyzing metagenomic data. While a biomedical background is preferred, it is not mandatory. A track-record of working experience in recognized research laboratories and of peer reviewed scientific publications is required.

 

Effective oral and written communication skills, teamwork abilities, and problem-solving proficiency are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate adaptability to changes in technological and scientific directions.
